I see you didn’t learn anything from us about travelling light then! Langkawi! We had a 3 day stopover there 3 years ago and we definitely want to return for a longer time. Our hotel was right next to an Indian restaurant (and I use the term loosely). The food was so good and no matter how hard we tried, we just couldn’t seem to spend $10 for the 3 of us. I think your hotel was a bit more upmarket than ours – we certainly didn’t have a pool. So, all’s quiet on the blog and you must be home now? Have you started planning next years’ trip yet? We have some Enrich miles that will need using up so who knows….
