Thought that might get someone’s attention…Hahaha!!
We were able to find what we believe to be a decent affordable reliable car for Brooklyn. So here we go again–another Jetta will join our family. It is a 1996 Jetta GLS (for those of you who care). Brooklyn has installed her zebra accessories–so she is all decked out and pretty happy…

That would be the University of Washington Bothell campus–wahoo!! She will be able to stay home as this campus is 20 minutes away. Small campus (less than 4,000 students). We are very proud of her and excited…Here she is with her letter…

We had a wonderful turkey meal at Chad and Ang’s last night. Bonnie and Terry are in town, but have to leave today, so we decided to have Thanksgiving dinner together last night. YUM! So much to give thanks for!!!
We will also cook a turkey etc here this weekend. I simply must have my own leftovers…
Jackie wants to decorate for Christmas this weekend. I am feeling kind of lazy today…but I might be convinced to go out and get the stuff unpacked. It would be nice to get that done. Todd, Kristen and kiddos are coming for Christmas…So it will be very festive and busy here this year.
Looking forward to a nice 4 day weekend…probably going out to shop tomorrow on black Friday–wahoo!!
Rachael’s old gymnastics coach (Dan) is coming back to work with the team since the passing of Coach Jeff. There will be a service next Tuesday—it will be one of the saddest things we have ever done I am sure. So Dan is going straight from the airport to the gym tomorrow (Friday) and having a special workout for the girls. We will be happy to see him!!
Not sure how to spell the car’s name Brooklyn! Did I get close?
We sold the Jetta last night…a couple fellas came and bought it for parts. Pretty much exactly all it was good for now. They already had a jetta with a bad motor–so voila!
So now the search can really get under way for a new addition to the family (now that we have room on the driveway again-haha)
So glad to see the Roberts family is embracing the “blog”. Two of my nephews are now blogging and my sister in law. This makes me think I should step it up…
Maybe people are interested in reading about my daily life. I will try hard to blog more regularly…
Rachael’s arm is healing well…she has returned to gymnastics although slowly…
Jackie has one more soccer game left in her season. Thank goodness it is on a turf field as the last two games have been unbearable water and mud baths!
Brooklyn has decided she wants to go to UW/Bothell campus–this is GREAT news (small campus/close to home). She is working on her application. The process is MUCH more involved than what I remember having to go through to get into University back in the dark ages when I went. We will keep y’all updated on that…but there is no reason to think she won’t get accepted.
Troy and I work work work…that is all there is to that…
We have been having some CRAZY weather here…very cold and snowy…around 10 inches in 12 hours fell starting 4:30 pm on Wednesday night –these photos were taken Thursday morning…

Well…Brooklyn was asked to go to Woodinville Homecoming this year. She went to the Homecoming game against Bothell (we lost) Friday night (her date plays defense for the Falcons). Then on Saturday, they went out to dinner before the dance and then after the dance they went midnight bowling (which is actually until 2am), but maybe 2am bowling does not sound as good to parents!!
