July 10th last full day in Chiang Mai

So what did we do with our last full day in Chiang Mai? Ha! Not much…

Went to a place called Hot Chili for lunch….sounds western doesn’t it? Well it wasn’t…it was a Thai restaurant that had been recommended to us by our hotel guy. (who is very nice BTW)

Troy had pineapple curry which was very good and I had Pad Thai made with glass noodles wrapped in an Thai omelette. Sounds weird right? But I do love me a good Thai omelette!

Then we wandered over to Sopa’s for a massage. I think I definitely had far and away the best massage ever! Head, neck, shoulder and back massage. But she spends some time on the legs too…so it ends up being an everywhere massage…awesome! Troy had a footie….so he was pretty darn happy too.

Then we spent the rest of the evening with Ian having supper (last khao soi gai for me) and mostly talking about Laos…we’re heading there tomorrow at 3pm….so we will check back in once we are settled there : ))

    Are you spending the balance of your holiday in Laos? Or coming back to the beach b4 returning home?

    We will be in Laos for the rest of the trip. Back in Bangkok on evening of July 20th as we catch flight home early on the 21st.
