Was blessed to be able to sleep (uninterrupted by music) until my body naturally alerted me to rise at 4:48am. Jet lag is a struggle……<\/p>\n

the clean up had begun and all the stage and wedding tents and tables literally evaporated overnight. All that was left was a mountain of trash. Anyway, no one seemed concerned about that the crew went inside walk about and enjoyed some sunshine and peace and quiet.<\/p>\n

Landon showed us where some of sam\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s family members live in the village. What an absolutely gorgeous day.<\/p>\n

and oh yeah, pic of the potty. Didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get one with the door open but you can imagine what I was dealing with if you like. I guess there was a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153shower\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in there too if you can imagine calling a reservoir of water and a bucket a shower. I made the decision prior to coming to embrace the baby wipe and not mind NOT showering for a couple days (in reality it turned into almost 5 days) but who is counting \u00f0\u0178\u00a4\u201d. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t ask me the reality of that in 90 plus degree heat (spoiler alert- it involves a lot of baby wipes)<\/p>\n

I\u00c2\u00a0was able to get some quick pics with Sam\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s parents. They are just simply the nicest most humble sweet people. They didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t understand a single word I said and vice versa. But I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m telling you it just didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t matter. A SMILE transcends all language barriers!! \u00c2\u00a0Until next time \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcmom and dad\u00e2\u20ac\u2122……<\/p>\n

We got a car and driver to take us to Kampot. Which is my favourite place in Cambodia. I stayed at the Hotel Old Cinema which opened in September as a hotel that used to be the old cinema house. A lovely French couple owns and runs it.<\/p>\n

It is in a great part of town. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m close to river and close to the Rusty Keyhole (pepperoni pizza here I come). On a main road but not the crazy busy road.
