They have an inspection scheduled for today and they are not ready<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/plugins\/chenpress\/FCKeditor\/editor\/images\/smiley\/msn\/whatchutalkingabout_smile.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So they have lots to do&#8230;they are getting the shear inspection as well as roof nail inspection (a King County special inspection<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/plugins\/chenpress\/FCKeditor\/editor\/images\/smiley\/msn\/tounge_smile.gif\" \/>)<\/p>\n<p>The 3 windows from the old kitchen eating area are going, going,gone&#8230;Got some good action shots of the guys&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/05.25back.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25back1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25back2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They worked fast and furious and the inspection went great&#8230;all good!!<\/p>\n<p>So basically, all the exterior framing is done and signed off&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25kitchen.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25kitchen2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So once the inpector came and went&#8230;these guys cleaned up and took off and left the roofers to do their thing! Which was WOW! They finished up with the tear off&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25front.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They had to tear off the old roof over the porch to redo it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25porch.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The only thing still standing that looks familiar about this yard is my flowers in the front yard!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25front1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25front2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25front3.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is what the house looks like from the side now&#8230;You can see our covered BBQ porch area. We are planning on planting some fast growing privacy trees aslong this side once the reno is complete&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25side.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.25side1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The next thing to happen was the delivery of the roofing materials&#8230;I had no idea how this was going to happen, but as it happens&#8230;very cool!  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/plugins\/chenpress\/FCKeditor\/editor\/images\/smiley\/msn\/shades_smile.gif\" \/>They have this conveyer belt that they flip over from the back of their truck and they just send each bundle up one at a time&#8230;it took over 3 hours to put all this up there&#8230;<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/plugins\/chenpress\/FCKeditor\/editor\/images\/smiley\/msn\/whatchutalkingabout_smile.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.26house3.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.26house1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.26house.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.laurie.casaroberts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image\/Laurie-reno\/05.26house2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So they got it all up there and said&#8230;See you tomorrow at 8am<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/plugins\/chenpress\/FCKeditor\/editor\/images\/smiley\/msn\/teeth_smile.gif\" \/> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday May25th&#8230;The day of the roof!!
